Job description

Acting as an integral part of the S&S UK Finance team, the Jnr Management Accountant supports the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with administration and reconciliation of key accounting areas.

The Job Role

In this role, you will be responsible for processing revenue from multiple sources, reviewing employee expenses, and managing monthly stock movements and accrual postings. You will play a key part in preparing month‑end reports, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting payment run processing and review. The role also involves managing employee access to ERP and expense portals, assisting with the resolution of historical unreconciled balance sheet items, and providing support to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams when required. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of ad‑hoc finance tasks, making this a dynamic and rewarding position.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly and persuasively, adapting their style to different audiences to gain support for ideas. Strong administration and organisational skills, including advanced Excel knowledge, are essential.

The ideal candidate will be client‑focused, building strong relationships and driving performance through collaborative, cross‑team working. You should be results‑driven, proactive in solving problems, and able to take initiative while knowing when to seek guidance.

You will be part‑qualified in a relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA), proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and, ideally, have experience using Navision accounting software (though this is not essential).
