Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Bury is seeking a motivated Junior Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company. You will be trained across planned and reactive maintenance, machinery breakdowns and general engineering support, with ongoing development to build your knowledge and progress.

This role is day-shift, practical and hands-on, with a genuine interest in engineering and machinery and a clear path to grow within the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Supporting the engineering team with machinery breakdowns and fault finding.
• Learning to identify and resolve basic mechanical and electrical faults.
• Assisting with the maintenance of conveyors, bearings, belts, chains and other production equipment.
• Supporting the installation, repair and servicing of machinery.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Working alongside experienced engineers to develop practical maintenance skills.

Junior Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bury

Salary: £35,000

Shift: Days

We are looking for a motivated Junior Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a previous engineering background or some basic hands-on engineering experience who is looking to develop their technical skills and build a long-term career within maintenance engineering.

Working alongside an experienced engineering team, you will gain valuable exposure to planned and reactive maintenance, machinery breakdowns and general engineering support across the production facility. Full training and ongoing development will be available to help you build your knowledge and progress within the role.

This position would suit someone who is practical, enthusiastic and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in engineering and machinery.

Role Description
