Job summary

Hydrop E.C.S. is seeking a motivated Legionella Risk Assessor to join our Midlands-based field team. This entry-level role includes full training and development opportunities, with travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.

You will carry out risk assessments, inspect water systems, and produce clear reports while building client relationships and supporting compliance with water safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a scientific, engineering or environmental discipline.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and occasional overnight stays.
• Motivation to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella risk assessments across various sites in line with BS8580-1.
• Inspect hot and cold water systems across multiple sectors.
• Produce detailed risk assessment reports with clear recommendations.
• Identify compliance issues and advise on remedial actions.
• Travel to client sites with overnight stays as required.
