Job summary

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Land Surveyor in Bristol, with a well‑respected surveying practice delivering topographical, measured building, utility and bathymetric surveys across the UK and Europe. The role focuses on supporting fieldwork and producing accurate deliverables while developing surveying skills with modern 3‑D laser scanning and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in surveying or a related discipline.
• Some experience or placement exposure to land surveying advantageous.
• Working knowledge of GPS, Total Stations, and laser scanning equipment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with topographical, measured building, and utility surveys on site
• Support the use of GPS, total stations, and 3‑D laser scanners
• Assist with post‑processing and registration of survey and point‑cloud data
• Produce accurate survey drawings and deliverables as a Junior Land Surveyor
• Liaise with senior surveyors and project managers on daily site tasks
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and site conduct
• Travel to sites across the South West and wider UK

With a growing pipeline of work and a close‑knit, highly skilled team, they are now looking for a motivated Junior Land Surveyor to join them.

Responsibility & Duties

• Assist with topographical, measured building, and utility surveys on site
• Support the use of GPS, total stations, and 3‑D laser scanners
• Assist with post‑processing and registration of survey and point‑cloud data

Experience & Qualification
