  • Rate: GBP150 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Contract: 3 months initially, with scope to extend up to 12 months
  • Start Date: Flexible

We're looking for an etry level Junior IT Support Engineer to join a school in the Slough area. This is a hands-on first-line support role where you'll be the go-to person for staff and students, keeping things running smoothly across both Windows and a handful of Google Classroom environments.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing first-line technical support for staff and students
  • Supporting Windows desktops, laptops, and general classroom IT equipment
  • Offering basic support for Google Classroom platforms
  • Troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues and escalating where needed
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional approach when dealing with users
What we're looking for
  • Some experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (school or education sector a bonus, but not essential)
  • Good knowledge of Windows environments
  • Confidence in dealing with users in person and by phone/email
  • A keen problem-solver with strong communication skills
  • DBS clearance (enhanced) is highly desirable, but we can support the process if not already held
