H2 Yacht Design in London is seeking a passionate Junior or Graduate Designer to join its team. You will help develop creative concepts and produce high-quality project deliverables for high-end yacht interior projects, while growing your skills with an experienced design team.

The role focuses on supporting design tasks, collaborating with suppliers, and contributing to presentations and documentation with a strong conceptual approach.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• A strong, conceptually driven approach to interior design.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong 2D drafting skills with AutoCAD.
• 3D modelling skills (SketchUp) or strong hand-sketching.
• Good understanding of spatial design and interior planning.
• Knowledge of FF&E, fabrics, materials and suppliers is advantageous.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing design concepts and presentations.
• Assist with design tasks including concept development, elevation renderings, mood boards, CAD drawings, image research, and spatial studies.
• Research and source materials, finishes, furniture and FF&E, liaising with suppliers and maintaining schedules.
• Assist senior designers in producing accurate drawing packages, specifications and construction documentation.
• Support development of custom furniture and interior details.
• Assist with project administration and maintain organised project documentation.
• Attend design meetings, take notes and issue meeting minutes as required.
• Set up and maintain organised project files and folders throughout each project.
