Job summary

Hobsons Choice is seeking a junior designer to join the Bath design team. You will support senior designers on live projects, starting with technical CAD work, surveys and specifications, and gradually taking more responsibility as you learn.

You will gain exposure to client meetings, site visits and supplier interactions, learning to develop ideas, present them, and manage project information through to installation and completion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related discipline is useful
• Potential applicants with no degree but strong interest in interiors are welcome
• Comfortable with both creative and technical sides of design
• Attention to detail and curiosity are important

Responsibilities

• Assist on live Bath design projects alongside experienced designers
• Produce and develop CAD drawings, survey information, and specifications
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and supplier meetings
• Develop drawings and specifications, and help with project information management
• Follow projects from initial brief to installation and completion
