A growing care organization in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Junior HR Advisor to join the HR Operations team. This hybrid role involves managing essential HR processes while ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong administrative skills. Experience in HR or the care sector is a plus. Your contribution will help enhance HR practices within a supportive environment.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior HR Advisor to join our supportive and fast-paced HR Operations team.
This is a hybrid role working from our Group Support office 1-2 days per week with the ability to work from home for the remainder.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of our HR service delivery—managing and supporting key processes such as payroll and contractual changes, family-friendly leave, references, right to work checks, criminal record checks, professional memberships, benefits administration, and skilled worker sponsorship.
You’ll also ensure we stay compliant with statutory bodies and regulations, employment law, and Home Office requirements, while keeping our HR administration accurate and timely.
As the first point of contact for staff and managers, you’ll handle incoming queries with professionalism and care—offering initial advice or directing them to the right support.
This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a growing organisation where your contribution will help shape and strengthen our HR practices.
Previous experience in an HR environment or the care sector would be a bonus, and familiarity with regulatory compliance and right to work checks is desirable—but not essential. We’re more interested in your potential and your passion for delivering excellent HR support.
