Job description

This role leads our People Services team across our two Distribution Centres, ensuring we provide top-tier HR administrative support. You will be responsible for a team of coordinators, identifying and implementing process improvements, and ensuring all our people operations are not only efficient but also fully compliant with legal requirements and aligned with HelloFresh's values. This is a key position for building a responsive, accurate, and people-first HR service that supports the wider People and Operations teams.

What You Will Be Doing

As the leader of our People Services team, you'll manage a team of four People Services Coordinators, providing them with guidance and support for their professional growth. You will also work closely with, monitor, and coach our offshore shared services team to ensure consistent and high-quality support. You will be responsible for streamlining and improving all HR administrative processes, from onboarding and offboarding to daily employee record maintenance. You will also play a key part in ensuring our workplace upholds the highest standards of health and safety. You'll be the main point of contact for complex queries, providing accurate and timely support to employees and managers. This includes:

  • Handling all employee lifecycle administration with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing reporting and analysis of key data, such as absence trends.
  • Assisting with the administration of employee benefits and preparing critical HR documents.
  • Championing company culture and key initiatives like employee well-being and diversity.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality with all sensitive information.
  • Providing essential HR support during formal meetings. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring you take reasonable care of your own health, and safety as well as others who may be affected by the work activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager.
Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in an HR supervisory or management support role, with a background in an administrative or coordination position, ideally in a FMCG business or similar.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Outstanding eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or equivalent and practical experience with HRIS systems, ideally including Workday and/or UKG.
  • Understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Shift Pattern: Mon‑Fri 08:00‑17:00 – with one weekend a month required and a flexible approach.
