Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Junior Hardware Engineer (Electronics) in Lancaster. You will join a fast-paced R&D team working on GNSS and RF technology with expert training and a clear progression path.

The role offers flexible hours, 37-hour weeks, and proximity to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The successful candidate will design electronics hardware, work on satellite communication tech, and receive training from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Junior or aspiring hardware engineer with interest in RF/FPGA.
• Experience not required but eagerness to learn and develop skills in GNSS technology.

Are you a Junior or aspiring Hardware Engineer looking for a varied, fast-paced R&D role working on projects from initial concept through to delivery whilst learning from technical experts on RF design and FPGA programming?

In this role you will be designing state of the art GNSS and RF technology for this industry leading positioning, timing and navigation innovator. You will receive expert training from technical experts on FPGA and RF design, working as part of the hardware team alongside the applications, software and systems departments.

Right on the doorstep of the outstandingly beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, this company was established over 3 decades ago and has built a strong, long-lasting foundation in a niche and profitable industry. They supply positioning, navigation and timing technology across the Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Automotive and Security industries and are known for solving complex issues within satellite communication.

This role would suit a Junior or aspiring Hardware Engineer looking for a fast-paced R&D position where you'll work on projects from concept to delivery and learn RF design and FPGA programming from expert engineers.

The Role:

• Working within the electronics hardware design team
• Designing new products and satellite communication technology
• Expert training on RF and FPGA design
• Tailored development plan to become a technical expert

37 hours per week, flexible working from a Heysham based office
