About Traktara - www.traktara.com
Traktara’s mission is to speed up electricity grid connections for critical infrastructure like renewables, battery storage and data centres. We do this by ingesting, tracking and linking data across four domains:
Our data platform helps investors and project developers track changes to competitor projects, assess the viability of their grid connections, and simulate future grid connection allocation rounds.
Our Founder and Managing Director, Ed Birkett, has over ten years experience in the UK energy sector, and is one of leading voices in debates about how to connect projects to the grid.
Traktara was founded ~6 months ago, and is already used by ~15 of the UK leading energy project development and investment companies. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated engineer to help us scale the Traktara platform.
You’ll work closely with our Managing Director and Lead Software Engineer, gain experience across the product, and build new features from early on. You’ll also help keep things running, investigating and fixing problems when they arise, including providing cover for the lead engineer.
Example responsibilities:
Experience processing data with Python, integrating external APIs or building data pipelines would be useful, but isn’t required. You’ll learn how our platform works alongside our Lead Software Engineer.
The role is available either to start immediately or following your notice period, if applicable.
