Overview

Ovrload - Strength and Conditioning is a strength and conditioning gym located in Meldreth. We specialize in providing elite-level training to everyday athletes, ensuring they achieve their fitness goals through structured and effective exercise programs. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping members improve their strength, conditioning, and overall athletic performance.

We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Junior Fitness Coach to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for health and fitness, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their personal fitness goals. This role involves working alongside experienced fitness coaches to deliver group classes, providing accurate, well founded advice to gym members, as well as being responsible for the general up keep of the fitness facility.

Qualifications
  • Level three personal training (essential)
  • Additional fitness/sports coaching qualifications (desirable)
Duties
  • Conduct individual gym inductions to new members.
  • Deliver group exercise classes to a high standard.
  • Build a rapport with all members to ensure a friendly, warm, result driven environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and support, encouraging them throughout their fitness journey.
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking in front of a group of people.
  • Proficient teaching skills, with the capability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, enabling safe exercise prescription tailored to individual needs.
  • A desire to learn and improve coaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage client schedules and training sessions efficiently.
