Junior Fire Engineer – Remote/Hybrid, UK

Salary: £35,000–£50,000

Location: Remote-first, head office based in Leeds

About the Role

An established fire safety consultancy is looking to recruit a Junior Fire Engineer to join their growing team. The company provides a wide range of fire safety services, including fire strategies, fire engineering consultancy, fire risk assessments, and FRAEW/EWS1 assessments for residential and commercial buildings.

The team is small and agile, with a handful of qualified fire engineers supported by junior staff, offering a collaborative, client-focused environment. This role is ideal for candidates who have at least six months of relevant fire engineering or fire safety experience and are looking to develop their technical expertise and career.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in producing fire strategies, fire engineering reports, risk assessments, and FRAEW/EWS1 assessments
  • Work closely with senior engineers and clients to deliver timely, high-quality fire safety solutions
  • Support the Technical Director and wider team across a variety of projects
  • Work largely remotely, with occasional site visits and client meetings
