HP4 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Junior Fire Alarm Engineer or Junior Electrician for Crawley and surrounding areas. The role offers training, ongoing support and a clear path for progression within the fire alarm and electrical industries, with a salary up to £35,000 and a company vehicle.

We welcome candidates with some electrical experience or a desire to develop in this specialist field, with Monday-to-Friday hours and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Some electrical experience or a basic understanding of electrical systems.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• A full UK driving licence, or the ability to meet the company's driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Supporting experienced engineers with fault finding and repairs.
• Learning how to test, inspect and commission fire alarm systems.
• Carrying out electrical and fire alarm work in line with company procedures and relevant industry standards.
• Learning to identify faults and develop effective troubleshooting skills.
• Completing service reports and job documentation accurately.
• Communicating professionally with customers and colleagues on site.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and workmanship.
• Developing your technical knowledge through hands-on experience and formal training.
