We are currently working with a forward-thinking fintech wealth management firm to recruit an ambitious and experienced individual for a unique Junior Financial Planner opportunity. This role is designed as a fast track to becoming a Financial Planner and offers close collaboration with the Founders of the business.

The Role

• The Junior Financial Planner will play a pivotal role in supporting senior advisers while also preparing to transition into a full advisory position. You’ll provide high-level paraplanning support and gain invaluable exposure to strategic client meetings, advice formulation, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive paraplanning support including investment analysis and cashflow modelling
• Shadow senior advisers and attend client meetings
• Manage ongoing client relationships and queries
• Assist in shaping internal advisory processes and mentoring junior team members
• Act as a technical point of reference within the team

Requirements:

• Diploma-qualified as a minimum; Chartered or close to Chartered status is preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience within financial planning, ideally including client-facing exposure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in technology-driven advice models
• STEP qualification and/or experience with DB pension transfers is desirable but not essential
