  • Perform and document monthly financial controls; assist in remediation efforts.
  • Support knowledge transfer and transition activities.

£300.00 p/d PAYE

HSBC is seeking four Junior Financial Accountants to join the Finance team in Whitely on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified finance professionals (ACCA or ACA preferred) looking to develop their experience within a leading global financial institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month-End Processing: Creation of schedules, integration of accounts, and execution of monthly control processes.
  • Reinsurance: Processing of reinsurance premium and claims data, including preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Reconciliations: Completion and review of monthly reconciliations, with follow-up on variances and issues.
  • Investment Operations: Support daily dealing and pricing, alongside monthly, regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting.
  • Controls & Remediation: Perform and document monthly financial controls; assist in remediation of reconciliation and ledger issues.
  • Training & Handover: Support knowledge transfer and transition activities as required.
Ideal Candidate
  • Newly qualified ACCA or ACA (not CIMA).
