What's the role?

Are you a self-driven and experienced finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a result-oriented, strategic, and proactive candidate to join our dynamic multinational team to lead the Regional Audit & Compliance, reporting directly to the Regional CFO.

Working as part of the regional hub based in Manchester, supporting Northern European countries, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact across multiple markets and enhance your career in a truly global environment.

Being responsible for audit and compliance management, under the direct leadership of the Regional CFO, you will support several market organizations (business entities) and their senior finance leadership team to deliver impactful results and contribute to long‑term Hilti strategy to make construction industry better.

With a development path outlined for this role outside of the audit function, you’ll bring broad finance experience, with a foundation in Audit and will be keen to develop within the organisation.

What does the role involve?

As a Regional Audit & Compliance Manager, You Will

  • Act as a trusted business partner in risk identification and process compliance improvements
  • Develop and manage the audit roadmap for the region
  • Execute independent process audits and provide valuable insights and recommendations to the Leadership team of market organizations (business entities)
  • Be the voice of the Region in close cooperation with global corporate audit team to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls framework
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of strategic finance projects while ensuring timely delivery, met expectations and maintaining high quality of standards

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. What You Need Is
  • Finance related bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or CPA (or equivalent ACA, CGMA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA)
  • Understanding or experience in internal/external audit alongside experience in another finance functions/areas; controlling; finance analyst, FP&A or accounting
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all the levels of organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A willingness and ability towards continuous learning
  • To be geographically flexible; motivation to pursue an international career
