Job summary

Confidential in Woking, Surrey, is seeking an entry level Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is office based with a clear path for progression and a starting salary of £26,000 per annum.

You will report to the Finance Manager, mainly handle Accounts Receivable/Credit Control, support other finance areas, and develop your financial skills within a growing organisation offering excellent facilities and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Driven individual seeking a career in finance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of debt collection across UK entities.
• Monitor aged debt and escalate issues per procedures.
• Build relationships to facilitate timely payment and dispute resolution.
• Support cash collection forecasting.
• Maintain customer accounts in ERP.
• Reconcile customer accounts and assist bank reconciliations.
