Job summary

Monex in London is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to help with invoicing, billing accuracy and cash flow optimisation. The role focuses on timely billing, credit control, and customer account management to minimise bad debt.

You will work across revenue assurance, reporting and analysis, debt collection, and accounts reconciliation, gaining exposure to risk assessments and internal controls within a regulated investment environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Accounting degree and 2:1 honours preferred.
• Experience in regulated investment environments is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing: generate, verify and process customer invoices on time.
• Revenue assurance: capture and invoice billable activities to avoid leakage.
• Reporting: produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly billing reports.
• System maintenance: update rates and assist billing system improvements.
• Debt collection: monitor outstanding accounts and negotiate payment plans.
• Credit risk assessment: evaluate creditworthiness and set limits.
• Accounts reconciliation: reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies.
