Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is hiring a Junior Field Service Engineer to join a growing team. This home-based role covers a local patch with occasional overnight stays and includes full OEM training to develop technical expertise.

You will gain hands-on experience in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems while maintaining programmes for customers. A UK driving licence is required and engineering background is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Holds a UK Driver's Licence.
• Engineering background preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Service and preventive maintenance (PPM) of bespoke systems within an ~80 mile patch with rare stays away.
• Receive full OEM training with a 3-month programme and ongoing progression to senior/team-leader roles.
• Work Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, with a half day on Fridays.

Home based, Covering a local patch with rare stays away, commutable from Warwick, Redditch, Statford-Upon-Avon, Worcester, Rugby and surrounding areas

This role will suit an Engineer looking for a field service role, looking to utilize their problem-solving mentality, receive further training and expand their Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical experience all whilst retaining a great work life balance.
