Job summary

Lavender Green Flowers in London and Windsor is seeking a Junior Events Designer to support the design and delivery of floral events from concept to installation. You will transform client briefs into mood boards, presentations, and on-site execution, upholding our luxury brand and service standards.

You'll work closely with the events and sales teams, assist with proposals, site visits, and post-event reviews, and develop venue knowledge while maintaining meticulous organisation and creative

The Role

As Junior Events Designer, you will support the design and delivery of exceptional floral events from concept through to installation, contributing creatively to proposals and client experiences. This role will assist the wider events and sales team by transforming clients briefs into inspiring mood boards, compelling presentations, and seamless on-site execution. The events designer plays a vital role in upholding our brand values through consistent quality, innovation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create mood boards and proposal decks that align with the client brief and brand aesthetic
• Support with client enquiries and proposal administration
• Attend site visits and capture notes and images to inform design development
• Be present throughout the entire customer journey, from initial brief to post-event review, ensuring every client interaction reflects Lavender Green’s values and service excellence
• Participate in installations, ensuring excellence in delivery and fostering positive venue/client relationships
• Be on hand during event prep and delivery to respond to real time client or team needs, ensuring each event runs smoothly and feels exceptional
• Support the wider team in operational planning, liaison with logistics, and on-the-day event prep
• Develop in-depth venue knowledge, contributing to event feasibility and proposal tailoring
• Help manage post-event reviews and feedback collation
• Maintain an organised archive of mood boards, templates, and case studies for internal reference
• Develop a good operational knowledge of all accredited venues
• Ability to think creatively and generate original ideas, with an interest in design and a keen eye for detail

Skills & Experience

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• A natural flair for visual storytelling and design, confident in interpreting client vision into creative concepts
• Clear communicator- both written and verbal- with a warm, polished, and professional tone
• Confident phone manner and client-facing presence, able to instil trust and remain calm under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRM systems for managing client data, pipeline tracking, and enquiry conversion
• Design presentation sills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and basic sketching or computer-aided design (CAD) for event visuals and layouts would be beneficial
• A keen interest in floral and event design trends, luxury hospitality and brand storytelling
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, while also taking initiative independently
• Numeracy and attention to detail in proposals and quotes
• Comfortable with physical aspects of installations and working flexible hours on occasion, including evenings and weekend work especially in busy periods
• Ideally experience in floristry/fashion/interior design/creative visual merchandising
• Ability to use one’s own initiative, but not frightened to ask questions

Additional Information

• Role is based in Windsor & London with regular travel to venue sites
• Early mornings, evenings or weekend work may be required for events
• Training and mentoring will be provided to support your growth
