Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is helping a Beith-based client recruit a Junior Estimator (Mechanical / AutoCAD). You will begin with full training to prepare estimates and quotations for a range of specialist engineering projects, using AutoCAD to mark up drawings and prepare costings.

The role offers training, clear progression and a supportive environment with holidays and excellent company benefits. Commutable from Beith and surrounding towns, with standard 8am–5pm hours and a Friday early

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background or degree.
• Experience with AutoCAD is required.
• Manufacturing exposure is advantageous.

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with AutoCAD experience, looking to move into an estimating role where you will receive full training and clear progression opportunities?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity where you will be trained to create estimates and quotations for a wide range of clients on specialist engineering & manufacturing projects.

The company are a specialist manufacturer with a great reputation within their industry due to their high-quality work and looking after their employees through ongoing training and promoting from within.

In this role, you will be trained on the estimating side of the business, using AutoCAD to mark-up drawings and create quotations based on customer requirements, as well as gaining exposure to production processes.

This position would suit a Mechanical Engineer with AutoCAD experience and some form of manufacturing exposure, who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a specialist estimating role.

The Role:

• Training to carry out estimates for specialist manufacturing work

The Candidate:
