Job summary

Austen Partners' Wealth Management division is hiring a Junior Equity Analyst to join a close-knit six-person equity team. You will support coverage across a high-conviction large-cap strategy central to the firm's £4bn AUM, building models and conducting deep fundamental research.

In time you'll lead coverage of your own sector, generate original ideas, pitch them at weekly meetings, and help move top ideas into the live portfolio. Salary up to £60k plus bonus, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' relevant experience in asset management or equity research.
• Strong curiosity about markets and businesses.
• Willingness to develop deep sector expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support existing coverage by building models and researching annual reports.
• Present findings to the team and pitch investment ideas at meetings.
• Progress to lead coverage of a sector and contribute to live portfolio ideas.
