Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
• Working knowledge of hardware schematics and the ability to interpret datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for microcontrollers and SoCs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C/C++ code.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to validate hardware functionality.
• Integrate and debug device drivers and communication protocols.
• Optimise system performance.
• Contribute to system architecture design and participate in code reviews.
• Support production teams in system diagnostics.
• Document software design and procedures.

Skills

C and C++ for embedded platforms

Familiarity with RTOS environments

Experience with ARM Cortex-M or Cortex-A

Understanding of low-level debugging tools

Version control systems (e.g., Git)

Familiarity with safety-critical systems

Knowledge of wireless communication stacks

Experience with Python for test automation

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
