Job summary

ALTEN LTD - UK is inviting applications for a Junior Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems for marine and autonomous technologies in Aberdeen. The role focuses on supporting design, development, testing, and validation of electronic hardware, operating within multidisciplinary teams to drive product lifecycle success.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of engineering experience and be willing to obtain BPSS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic hardware development and testing.
• Understanding of embedded electronic systems and interfaces.
• Knowledge of electronics development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of analogue and digital electronic circuits.
• Assist with schematic capture, PCB design, and hardware development activities.
• Perform testing, fault-finding, and validation of electronic systems.
• Support integration and verification activities within multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce technical documentation and test reports.
• Investigate product issues and contribute to root cause analysis activities.
