Job description
⚡ Electronics Technician - Perfect for the Hands-On Hobbyist Turned Pro

If you love taking things apart just to see how they work, and putting them back together even better, this could be the role for you.

We're looking for someone early in their career who's genuinely passionate about electronics. Whether you've been repairing consoles, building your own circuits, or experimenting with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, here you'll get to apply that curiosity to cutting‑edge technology every day.

💼 The role

You’ll be part of a talented electronics design team, supporting engineers in testing, building, and fault‑finding advanced electronic systems.

It's a hands‑on role where you'll get involved in:

  • Testing, troubleshooting and analysing electronic circuits

  • Supporting prototype builds and production test activities

  • Using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, data loggers and spectrum analyzers

  • Helping to refine and improve designs through detailed feedback and experimentation

🧠 What we're looking for
  • HNC or similar in Electronics / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

  • A genuine interest in electronics, maybe you tinker, repair, or build things in your free time

  • Some familiarity with analogue and digital circuits (RF or optical experience a bonus)

  • Comfortable using test and measurement tools

  • Keen to learn from experienced engineers and grow your skills in a high‑tech environment

💰 What's on offer
  • Salary: around £33,000 (depending on experience)

  • Bonus: up to £2,500

  • Pension: up to 14% combined contribution

  • Flexi leave & overtime: extra paid days or overtime available

  • Facilities: on-site café, subsidised meals, gym and more

  • Working pattern: hybrid, but most of your time will be hands‑on in the lab
