Job summary

Probe UK is seeking a Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join a fast-growing engineering team. You will contribute to the full product development cycle, from concept to production, applying robust hardware and firmware design to deliver high-quality electronic solutions.

This in-office role offers £35,000–£40,000, 37 hours per week, and a generous package including a 6.5% employer pension, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance x3, and a tax-free £3,000 bonus.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree.
• At least 1+ years analogue & digital electronics and low power design experience.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with microcontrollers, ADCs, DACs & interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB).
• Experience with real-time firmware, preferably with C++.
• Familiarity with MRP systems (AXAPTA, SAP) and DFM/DFT techniques.

Responsibilities

• New Product Development and product design across concept to production.
• Develop robust PCB design, firmware development and validation.
• Integrate with third-party controllers, transducers and instrumentation.
• Support production and resolve electronics-related issues.
