Job summary

Ganymede is seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join a UK lighting manufacturer. The role supports delivery of lighting and control projects across infrastructure, transport, and commercial sectors, working with experienced teams to develop technical and project management skills.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience with intelligent lighting systems and electrical infrastructure while building a long-term career in engineering and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of electrical and lighting projects.
• Assist with project documentation, technical specifications and project schedules.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
• Support product testing, validation and technical evaluations.
• Help investigate and resolve technical issues during project delivery.
• Produce technical reports, installation guides and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and support engineers with achieving key milestones.
