Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Hampshire area project teams. Based in or near Winchester, you will work across electrical design, site surveys and budget costings, gaining exposure from design through to installation and commissioning.

You will develop technical skills while receiving support from experienced engineers. A full UK driving licence is essential as travel to project sites is required.

• Based in or within commuting distance of Hampshire / Basingstoke.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and electrical services designs.

Graduate Electrical Engineer

£30,000 - £36,000 + Career Development + Training

Are you a Junior or Trainee Electrical Engineer looking to develop your career in a hands-on engineering environment where you can gain valuable design, site and project experience?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering practice where you will work alongside experienced Engineers and Members, receiving support and guidance while developing your technical skills and professional knowledge.

Working across a range of projects, you will be involved in electrical design, site surveys, technical calculations, specifications and construction monitoring. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer looking to build a long-term career within the industry and gain exposure to projects from design through to installation and commissioning.

The day to day of this role includes carrying out site surveys, assisting with electrical services designs, preparing specifications, completing engineering calculations and budget costings, and liaising with other members of the design team. You will also attend construction sites to monitor workmanship and progress, assist with snagging, and witness testing and commissioning when required.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant electrical engineering qualification or some experience within electrical design, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in developing their engineering career. A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role will involve travelling to project sites.

• 37.5 hours per week
• 10am - 4pm core hours
