Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Government Buildings – Temple – £43,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established building services company based in Temple! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a government contract located in Temple. The successful candidate will support the on‑site maintenance team, carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance while developing their skills and technical knowledge within a commercial environment.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 8 am – 5 pm
• Plenty of overtime available

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• (Training and support provided where required)
• Basic lighting tasks (small installations, lamping, simple fault‑finding)
• Assisting with emergency lighting tests
• Supporting senior engineers with control panel work
• Changing ballasts
• Monitoring BMS systems (hot & cold checks)
• Maintaining and updating site logbooks
• Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets)
• Assisting with pumps and motors

• Ideally some exposure to building maintenance (commercial or residential), but not essential
