Job description

As a Junior .NET Developer, you will be working as part of an experienced development team, building and maintaining a range of applications used across the business. You'll receive onboarding and mentorship, developing both your technical and professional skills. From your first day, you'll contribute to real‑world projects using technologies such as C#, .NET and SQL, while learning from experienced developers. Beyond the day-to-day tasks, this role provides plenty of opportunities for professional growth and hands‑on experience in a variety of projects. The junior software engineer plays a significant role in the team's success, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and building collaborative skills within a team‑oriented framework.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems.
  • Contribute to code reviews and follow best practices in software development.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Design, develop and maintain Web/Desktop applications.
Qualifications
  • This role is ideal for someone with a passion for software development who is eager to learn, grow, and take on exciting new challenges. An excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with some commercial experience.
  • An understanding of C#, .NET and SQL with at least 2+ years' experience working within a commercial role.
  • Experience developing or working with APIs.

  • Version source control experience with either DevOps or GitLab.
  • Document technical processes, decisions and system change requests.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and a willingness to learn.
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date with modern tools, technologies and development practices.
