A leading technology company in Crawley is seeking a Software Dev-Ops & Test Engineer to maintain and improve development infrastructure while ensuring software quality. Responsibilities include managing Azure infrastructure, enhancing CICD pipelines, and conducting tests. The ideal candidate will have scripting expertise and a background in automation. This role offers a supportive environment focused on continuous learning and innovation.
As a Software Dev-Ops & Test Engineer, your time will be split between two core responsibilities, liaising with your manager to prioritize. You will join our Software team in Crawley in developing new software products to deliver value from our sensor data using Kanban methodologies. On-the-job training will be provided.
In terms of Dev-Ops, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our development infrastructure. E.g, keeping our CICD pipeline available and efficient, maintaining scripts for automation, and designing action plans to address functionality gaps.
In terms of testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our applications. The testing is primarily manual with an opportunity to develop your abilities in test automation.
