This role offers the chance to learn from experienced designers, develop a broad creative skillset, and contribute ideas to a fast‑paced publishing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Video & Motion Design
  • Edit weekly video content for our media channels and social platforms.
  • Create animated graphics, intros, and short‑form motion assets to enhance storytelling.
  • Work with the video and editorial teams to bring interviews, explainers, and features to life through engaging visuals.
  • Maintain and refine video templates to ensure brand consistency.
Graphic Design & Branding
  • Design graphics, infographics, and visual assets for web, email, and marketing use.
  • Support the design team in delivering brand updates and new creative ideas.
  • Help maintain a consistent visual style across all Today Digital brands.
Digital & Web Design
  • Assist in designing layouts and graphics for our websites.
  • Support UX improvements by providing feedback and simple design updates.
  • Prepare assets for digital campaigns and partner promotions.

  • Design and adapt visuals for use across social channels.
  • Help the marketing team produce engaging visuals that drive community interaction.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • A strong portfolio (university or personal projects welcome) showing video editing, motion design, and digital creativity.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Understanding of layout, typography, and brand consistency.
  • Enthusiasm for creating content that works across web and social media.
  • A proactive, organised approach with good attention to detail.
Desirable
  • Experience creating short‑form social videos (e.g. YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Familiarity with After Effects animation workflows or template design.
  • Interest in B2B, technology, or digital media.
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles.
What We Offer
  • Competitive entry‑level salary.
  • Opportunity to learn from and collaborate with an experienced design team.
