I Love My Job Ltd in Cheltenham is seeking a Junior Designer to join a fast-paced, creative product business. This hands-on role spans packaging, print, digital and marketing, offering real design experience from day one within a supportive team.

You’ll create packaging concepts, social assets, and print-ready artwork while following brand guidelines and collaborating with senior designers to grow your skills in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Fancy seeing your designs on retailer shelves around the world? We’re on the hunt for a Junior Designer to join a fast-paced, successful creative product business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real, varied design experience from day one, across packaging, print, digital and marketing. You’ll be part of a busy, supportive design team where no two days look the same: one minute you’re designing packaging for a new product range, the next you’re pulling together social assets for a global launch, or prepping print-ready artwork bound for suppliers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Turning briefs from Product Development into design concepts, 3D visuals and mock-ups
• Spotting design trends and keeping an eye on the competitor market to keep ranges ahead of the curve
• Amending and refining concepts as directed by the Senior Designer / Creative Director
• Accurately applying in-house and customer style guides across the product range
• Preparing print-ready files, liaising with PD, Production, & factories to check & approve samples
• Supporting the Digital & Marketing teams with social assets, website content, and email design
• Photographing products for catalogues, websites and social media
• Producing sell sheets, trade fair materials and brand catalogues for each territory
• Keeping artwork organised and correctly filed on the server
• Pitching in wherever the team needs you – mock-ups, presentations, trade show prep, etc

What you’ll bring:

• A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent commercial experience, in-house or agency
• A multi-disciplinary skillset – equally comfortable designing for print and digital
• Some packaging experience, whether from university projects, self-directed work, or a previous role
• A sharp eye for colour, layout, composition and typography, with the discipline to stick to brand guidelines
• Confidence in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Figma or After Effects experience is a bonus, as are basic photography skills
• A commercial mindset – you understand shelf impact and what makes consumers pick one product over another
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the organisation to juggle multiple projects without missing a beat.
