Job summary

VERSUS is seeking a Junior Designer to help bring VERSUS to life across our content, events and wider business. You’ll support the creation of design work across editorial channels, social platforms, original IP, events and commercial projects.

Working from briefs and creative direction, you’ll collaborate with teams across the business to ensure our work is clear, engaging and recognisably VERSUS, with opportunities to develop your skills across a wide range of design projects.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Portfolio demonstrating graphic design, typography and layout skills.
• Experience designing for social/digital platforms.
• Ability to follow briefs and apply creative direction.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Collaborative and enthusiastic approach.
• Passion for football and contemporary culture.

Responsibilities

• Create assets for editorial and social channels.

We’re looking for a Junior Designer to help bring VERSUS to life across our content, events and wider business.

Department: Editorial / Commercial

Location: London / WFH

VERSUS is the platform championing the future of football and its rising influence on culture and society.

As Junior Designer, you’ll support the creation of design work across our editorial channels, social platforms, original IP, events and commercial projects.

You’ll create engaging assets for our day-to-day content, produce artwork for VERSUS shows and formats, design promotional materials for events and help develop presentations and pitch decks.

Working from briefs, templates and creative direction, you’ll collaborate with teams across the business to ensure our work is clear, engaging and recognisably VERSUS.

You’ll be joining one of the most innovative teams in football media, with the opportunity to develop your skills across a wide range of design projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating assets for VERSUS editorial and social channels
• Designing graphics, artwork and carousels for digital platforms
• Producing artwork for VERSUS IP, shows and original formats
• Designing posters and promotional assets for VERSUS events
• Supporting the design and formatting of creative, commercial and internal decks
• Assisting teams across the business with day-to-day design tasks
• Adapting creative work for different platforms and formats
• Responding to feedback and delivering amends accurately and efficiently
• Contributing ideas during the development of new projects and formats

Our requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
