Junior Cyber Security Analyst, Law Firm, Bristol (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Cyber Security team of a large, International Law Firm in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in cyber security in a supportive environment that offers career development. If you have experience in a 1st or 2nd line IT Support team in an international organisation and a passion for Cyber Security, this job is for you. Work from home three days per week initially, then four.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily cyber security operations, including Tessian, Phisher, KnowBe4, and support tickets.
  • Assist with compliance activities, audits, and third‑party/client assessments.
  • Support colleague education through phishing simulations and awareness campaigns.
  • Document and communicate security processes clearly for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Contribute to security initiatives and raise awareness across the business.
  • Help manage security incidents with the Risk Team and stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective tracking and monitoring formats.
Tools & Technologies You Will Work With
  • ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR
  • NIST, CIS, NCSC, Mitre ATT&CK, Security Scorecard
  • Azure Security Center, Defender ATP, M365 Security, Data Compliance & Governance
  • Darktrace, Firewalls, NAC, and other network security systems
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and PowerShell scripting
  • Cloud computing (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and authentication technologies
