Octus is seeking a credit analyst to focus on leverage loans across the credit lifecycle, with primary emphasis on the European market. You will publish research reports and collaborate with lawyers and other teams to deliver cross-disciplinary insights to institutional clients.

The role requires 1+ years in credit research, strong financial modeling skills, and excellent written communication. Expect a high degree of client interaction and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of credit research experience from buy side, sell side or rating agency.
• Strong financial analysis and cash flow modeling skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities; reports are lengthy and detailed.
• Familiarity with AI tools and eagerness to learn.
• Fluency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis and build forward-looking models to generate actionable investment ideas.
• Publish credit research reports with detailed discussions of credit strengths and risks.
• Maintain dialogue with team members and monitor sector trends for case analyses.
• Lead primary analysis work across a portfolio of performing leveraged loans.
