A global engineering services firm in the UK seeks a Junior Commercial Manager. The successful applicant will handle contract negotiation, support bidding processes, and manage commercial tasks within a collaborative environment. This role sits within the Secure Government Business Unit of AtkinsRéalis, which is rapidly growing and offers diverse services to its clients. We require a driven and experienced Junior Commercial Manager who can ‘hit the ground running’ and support the Secure Gov ambitious strategy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year’s commercial experience supporting engineering consulting or software services contracts and/or commercial contracts across aerospace, defence and/or government gained in a sales environment.
Joining the current commercial team, the successful applicant will support the team with a wide range of commercial tasks. You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of agreements including prime and subcontracts, NDAs, MOUs, teaming agreements and back‑to‑back subcontracts. You will also lead the commercial governance process for bids that fall within your remit and hold the wider business unit to account aligned to AtkinsRéalis approvals framework.
