Junior CNC Programmer - The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CNC Programmer to join our busy manufacturing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting and coordinating the CNC production process by working closely with various departments across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their CNC programming skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You'll be involved in preparing and running CNC programs, ensuring accurate and efficient machining, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our production processes.

Junior CNC Programmer - Key Responsibilities

• Prepare CNC machining data in a timely fashion to meet the demands of the fabrication programme
• Check, test and modify data (macros) as necessary ensuring accuracy and compliance with the system supplier's fabrication manuals and any other supplementary information or details that may be required
• Produce control samples for checking of critical and new machining's
• Maximise CNC efficiency and utilisation
• Run CNC Programmes as and when required
• Assist with CNC machine maintenance and servicing liaising with HOD as and when required in the event of breakdown or malfunction
• Provide cover for other members of staff as may be required from time to time
• Be proactive with regards to continuous improvement and provide feedback on ways to improve the performance of the department and interfaces with it
• Carry out any other duties that may be deemed necessary for the completion of the works by the company and/or the line manager
