A leading healthcare institution in the UK seeks a Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedics for a 12-month post starting April 2026. The role involves patient care, outpatient commitments, and participation in teaching. The ideal candidate must be registered with GMC/GDC, possess MRCS, and have specialist training in orthopaedics. Strong adherence to clinical governance and audit programs is required. This role offers an opportunity to impact patient care positively and contribute to the institution's research initiatives.
This is an established post, bringing the complement of CT1/2 equivalents with the Department of Orthopaedics to 8 junior fellows in Denmark Hill site. We also have seven NTN registrars who are part of the South East Thomas Orthopaedics Training Programme. There are 11 Senior Clinical Fellows who are all post FRCS (T& O). There are 8 FY1 trainees at Denmark Hill. The successful candidate is expected to supervise the FY1 as well as having duties in outpatients, theatres and cover for the ED.
