A vacancy at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. UHDB require Junior Clinical Fellows in Emergency Medicine at the Queens Hospital Burton site. These posts are intended to provide clinicians with post-Foundation experience in Emergency Medicine.
We have recently undergone a period of redesign and refurbishment of our on‑site Minor Injuries department, offering a more streamlined process of managing all walk‑in patients through appropriate signposting and subsequent management.
These posts will include clinical experience in the Emergency Department, as well as specific teaching, training and support that depend on career aspirations.
The post holder is expected to commit to ongoing personal development, maintain and develop skills and professional knowledge relevant to the post, and develop a portfolio of evidence.
Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice at the time of application is essential. Applicants must also be eligible to work in the UK and have excellent written and spoken English skills, adequate to enable highly effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
