This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills. Whilst this role is initially based in Chesterfield there may be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community which we may talk to you about in the future.
We have an opportunity at the Trust for F3 level doctors to gain broad based experience in an 8 Month post, from 03 December 2025. This is a fixed term post to provide rota cover for a trainee vacancy. This can be offered on a less than full time (LTFT) basis and our successful candidate will be required to participate in the full shift rota in operation.
This post will suit medics who would like to further experience of Emergency Medicine, which will help consolidate their knowledge, skills and confidence prior to moving on to the next steps of their career.
The minimum skill requirement for this role is completion of UK Foundation Training programme or FY3 equivalent post in Emergency Medicine in the UK.
There will be opportunity to participate in teaching, audit, and service improvement projects.
