Job description
Overview

Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow position commencing in December 2025. This is a fixed-term post covering the following specialties:

  • December 2025 to April 2026: General Surgery
  • April 2026 to August 2026: Paediatrics

This is a fantastic opportunity within East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust for the successful candidate to gain experience of working within General Surgery. The post is based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage and is full time.

Role and learning opportunities

The Junior Clinical Fellow will have the opportunity to further their knowledge through exposure to clinics, operating lists (elective and emergency), ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings and formal teaching. The post holder will be encouraged to participate in audits, presentations and teachings. Although this post is not recognised for training the appointee will be encouraged in their training and development within the role.
