Job summary

Montu UK is recruiting a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our London team. This hands-on role focuses on prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for complex cases, delivering safe, personalised treatment while expanding clinical expertise in CBPM.

You will collaborate with consultants, pharmacists and multidisciplinary colleagues to drive patient outcomes and develop pathways, education, and service improvements in a fast-evolving field.

Qualifications

• Registered medical practitioner with the GMC and a full licence to practice.
• Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) training or equivalent clinical experience including GP or A&E placement.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews via video call with patients during their journey through the clinic.
• Prescribe medicines and tailor treatments to individual patient needs.
• Provide expert guidance to patients on treatment options.
• Clinically check CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Help to answer complex clinical queries and provide guidance to our patient support and other external teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GMC standards.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

This role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract

What is the job?

We are recruiting a Junior Clinical Fellow to join our London team. This is a hands-on, patient focused role where you will play a critical part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex clinical needs.

Your work will centre on delivering safe, effective and highly personalised treatment, supporting patients across a wide range of conditions.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team, contributing not only to outstanding patient outcomes but also to the development of clinical pathways, education initiatives, and service improvements. This role offers a genuine opportunity to grow your expertise and make a lasting impact in a fast-evolving specialty.

_ This is a full time role contracted at 40 hours per week. Your time will be split across three days on site and two days working remotely, with one Saturday per month required on site. Saturday working is compensated with a day in lieu. _

What will you be doing?

What do you need?

• Registered medical practitioner with the GMC and a full licence to practice
• Completion of Foundation Year 2 (F2) training or equivalent clinical experience including a placement in GP or A&E.
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of CBPM is desired not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training
• Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings
• Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands
• Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows
