A healthcare provider in the UK seeks a dedicated professional to support Critical Care units in Gloucestershire. The role involves managing patients, providing leadership during on-call services, and contributing to the educational programs of the department. This role will support the running of both Critical Care units in Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals. The post will also support the provision of on‑call services across both sites.
This role will complement our current junior and middle grade rotas to continue to provide the high level of care for which our units are proud to deliver.
Roles will include the review and management of patients on the Critical Care unit along with review of patients referred to Critical Care.
You will be an integral member of the Adult and Paediatric Cardiac arrest teams as well as the Trauma team.
You will be expected to deliver all procedures required for the management of current inpatients and stabilisation of new admissions with the exception of percutaneous tracheostomies.
It is vital that you are able to work within the flat hierarchy we maintain and work with all members of the MDT.
It is hoped that you will also look to support the educational and research programme of the department and you will be supported in these roles.
