About Our Client

One of London's largest independent letting agents, they're responsible for managing over 1000 residential properties on behalf of their clients. They're in the process of expanding their client accounting team; you'll be the fourth member within a close-knit function.

Job Description
  • Accurately allocate incoming payments in Reapit and 360; manage suspense accounts effectively.
  • Generate property management and third-party invoices with precision.
  • Set up financial schedules and process new deals efficiently.
  • Handle tenancy deposit refunds with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
  • Distribute landlord statements, income breakdowns, and NRL6 certificates.
  • Support rent collection efforts by chasing late payments and updating landlords.
  • Manage tenancy terminations, occupancy changes, and deed updates in Reapit.
  • Ensure landlords remain compliant with the Non-Resident Landlord Scheme.
  • Keep financial data in Reapit accurate and up to date.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly cross-departmental meetings to support collaboration.
The Successful Applicant
  • A strong foundation in accounting principles, ideally gained through Accounting & Finance degree.
  • Experience in using accounting software and tools.
  • An interest in the property industry and a willingness to learn its financial intricacies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly and professionally.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
