Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or relevant training is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to work in an education or high-profile catering environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and mise en place
• Support kitchen colleagues with daily service and presentation
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organised
• Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs
• Support catering for special events and functions
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls; our codes of conduct inform how we behave towards clients, customers, suppliers and partners
• Join Holroyd Howe, a leading UK contract caterer to independent schools and colleges; tailor catering to meet bespoke school requirements
• Contribute to ensuring a safe, high-quality dining experience for pupils and staff
• Assist with maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality
• Support in training and development opportunities for junior team members
