Job summary

TJCOM in Liverpool is seeking a Junior Service Security Engineer to join an established engineering team. You will support the servicing, maintenance and repair of CCTV, access control and integrated security systems across Liverpool and the surrounding area.

No prior security experience is required as full training and ongoing support will be provided, including a structured induction and hands-on learning from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Interest in engineering, electronics or technology.
• Basic electrical or technical knowledge would be an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Organised, punctual and professional when dealing with customers.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the servicing and maintenance of CCTV and access control systems.
• Learning to identify faults and carry out basic repairs.
• Supporting experienced engineers during site visits.
• Developing knowledge of IP-based security systems and related technology.
• Using tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Completing service reports and keeping accurate records.
• Following site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Providing professional and friendly customer service.
