Job summary

Interpath is seeking a proactive Junior Cashier to join our central Cashiering Team. Based in the UK, with the possibility to be based in Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, you will support insolvency and restructuring teams, safeguarding client funds and maintaining accurate financial records in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

You will handle day-to-day administration of insolvency estate bank accounts, perform bank reconciliations, and help ensure timely regulatory

Responsibilities

• Process receipts, payments, electronic transfers and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support the opening, ongoing administration and closure of insolvency estate bank accounts.
• Maintain complete and accurate records across the firm’s case management and document management systems.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Review supporting documentation before processing transactions to help mitigate the risk of fraud and financial crime.
• Support compliance activities and help ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
• Liaise professionally with banks, internal teams and other stakeholders to resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Assist with case closures, archiving and associated administrative tasks.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and support the adoption of efficient digital ways of working.
