Job summary

Interpath Advisory is seeking a proactive Junior Cashier to join our central Cashiering Team. Based in Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, you will support insolvency and restructuring groups, safeguard client funds and maintain accurate financial records in line with regulatory requirements.

You will handle receipts, payments, bank transfers, bank reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Full UK working rights.

Responsibilities

• Process receipts, payments, electronic transfers and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support the opening, ongoing administration and closure of insolvency estate bank accounts.
• Maintain complete and accurate records across the firm’s case management and document management systems.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Review supporting documentation before processing transactions to mitigate fraud and financial crime.
• Support compliance activities and help ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
• Liaise with banks, internal teams and stakeholders to resolve queries promptly.
• Assist with case closures, archiving and related administrative tasks.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and support digital ways of working.
